Hot Dogs for Hope 1st Quarter 2020 Newsletter

Hi everyone! Hello family, loved ones, supporters, random folks who I signed up for this newsletter, haters and friends! I’m Mike Linkenauger, and me and my wife Diane want to be intentional about keeping those who love and support us informed about all that God is doing through the ministry. We plan to send this out at a sustainable rate of once per every three months or so. ***If you want to hear about ministry stuff going on more often, make sure to join our Facebook Group at www.FreeInFaith.com. About our ministry – Free in Faith Ministries is the official name, which is what we go by at the Detox each Saturday when bringing the Gospel. One the streets, we are called Hot Dog Ministry (Hot Dogs for Hope to be specific) and I’m commonly called “Hot Dog Mike”. Each Monday we assemble an army of at least 20-30 dedicated servants of God to go share the love of God with anyone and everyone in downtown Jacksonville in need.

Honorable Mentions – We made the news two nights in a row! During our first major cold front, we put together a blanket brigade one Sunday night and got 300-400 blankets and coats distributed just in time to our friends on the streets. The news did their own last minute story, and got many details incorrect. The very next night, we were doing Hot Dogs for Hope ministry as usual, but also distributed many more blankets, over 9 gallons of hot chocolate, and of course The Gospel! Here is part of that story.  Also… Pastor Matthew Barnett (from LA Dream Center and Angelus Temple) said our ministry was the best ministry name EVER (SEE FOR YOURSELF!)

Some stuff God has been doing –

Bibles falling like Manna from Heaven – I posted about 6-8 months ago that we could NEVER have enough bibles. And that we are ALWAYS in need of bibles. I posted it a few times. I think I must have made God laugh by posting that… As we have literally had an incredible and awesome abundance ever since. Like within a week of posting that we had a dozen CASES of bibles. We keep getting them in a consistent way, case after case, from SEVERAL different sources. He knows how stubborn I am, and how I continually forget (like Israel ALWAYS forgot) how faithful He is and how He always provides for His kids in an abundant, awesome and often inexpiable  way!

We gave away our first car

We are celebrating 4 years –

We are getting a building – At least, we are believing in God to provide us with one. We have our eyes on an awesome 6,500 SqFt warehouse and are we are now raising support to move into this building by May. We are looking for $5,000 in financial support.
